Whilst the app is effective in what it does, buyers should be specifically aware that although a lifetime licence is indicated, practically it is not because there is no facility to deregister an iDevice that is no longer owned by the licensee. Apple users frequently update their devices year by year, so the lifetime license refers only to the original iDevices used under the license. For me, effectively, this meant buying a "lifetime" family license in March 2020, I had to purchase another "lifetime" family license in January of this year when I had need of the app. In the spirit of friendship I pointed out this anomaly to the software developers and suggested they allow reregistration and reregistration in the way that many app developers do, to allow their updated devices to be covered by the "lifetime" license. They declined with cursory "blah blah" replies. Anytrans is an app that is used very infrequently, i.e. only in times of trouble. For my two lots of NZ$176.00, I got to use the app 7 times. Until the developers change their policy and allow reregistration of old devices and reregistration of current ones, I would recommend that buyer think very seriously about the value of this product.
